Planned giving
Planned giving is a way to support non-profits that enables individuals to make larger gifts than they could make from normal income. A planned gift is any major gift, made during a persons lifetime or at death as part of a donor’s overall financial and/or estate planning.
Some examples of what a donor may consider as part of their planned giving would be cash, appreciated securities/stock, real estate, artwork, partnership interests, personal property, life insurance, a retirement plan, etc.
